In September, The Asia Institute announced a new joint-scholarship program in partnership with International Educators of Illinois (IEI) to award funding to students seeking to participate in global learning experiences in Asia this year. In addition, The Asia Institute has three other scholarship opportunities for students, with deadlines in February and March. - International Educators of Illinois (IEI) Scholarships: The Asia Institute and the International Educators of Illinois (IEI) award scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who are attending a university or college in the state of Illinois. - Pennsylvania Global Scholarships: The Asia Institute and the Pennsylvania Council for International Education (PaCIE) award scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who are attending a university or college in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. - Community College for International Development (CCID) Scholarships: The Asia Institute partners with Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) to grant scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who will participate in an education abroad and/or internship abroad program in Asia offered by CCID member colleges and universities.The deadline for applications is February 15, 2022. - International Engineering Scholarships: Alongside the Colloquium on International Engineering Education, The Asia institute provides scholarships to undergraduate, graduate or doctoral students who are attending a university in the United States and whose minor, major, masters or doctoral degree is in the field of engineering.
