On November 14, The Ohio University Office for Multicultural Student Access and Retention (OMSAR) and The Asia Institute hosted a special virtual presentation on Being Black Abroad, The workshop covered topics such as experiences for Black Americans living abroad, professional development advice, and the value of understanding a global context.
The Asia Institute invited select partners to join this program to explore how their institutions support students and their study abroad experiences with respect to social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
